OVERVIEW
The Legal Clinic was created to address a specific and often overlooked gap that occurs after separation in cases involving domestic abuse.
When access to financial resources is restricted or cut off, many women are left trying to navigate early legal steps without stability, support, or representation.
This creates a significant disadvantage at a critical point in the process.
The Legal Clinic exists to provide structured support during this period and to help move women toward financial access and legal footing.
WHY THIS PARTNERSHIP MATTERS
This work cannot happen in isolation.
Addressing this gap requires collaboration between individuals, legal professionals, and organizations working within and alongside the system.
Partnership allows us to:
-
expand access to support
-
connect women to appropriate legal pathways
-
improve outcomes during early stages of the process
-
create a more coordinated and effective response
