We take a comprehensive, real-world approach to understand how institutional response to financial coercive control affects a survivor's ability to leave and rebuild, and to inform education, resources, and policy change.
1. RESEARCH
We review peer-reviewed research, policy reports, and legal scholarship to understand what is known.
2. LAWS & POLICIES
We examine existing laws, policies, and institutional processes related to financial coercive control.
3. SURVIVOR INTERVIEWS
We conduct qualitative interviews with survivors to understand whether these laws and policies are being implemented in practice and how they impact real lives.
4. EDUCATION
We translate what we learn into education for professionals, institutions, and communities.
5. RESOURCES
We develop and share resources to help survivors navigate systems and access the support they need to rebuild.
